LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who plays with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest basketball player ever and is often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James won two Olympic golds, as well as four NBA championships. James has scored the second most career goals and seventh in assists. James has been chosen as an NBA All Star 18 times. James has 18 NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. The third highest amount in NBA Finals ever was ten, with eight being consecutive between 2011-2018. James was picked to be a member of the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player to ever score 10,000 or higher career points. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School within his hometown of Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a future NBA superstar. In 2003 it was the year that his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first during the NBA draft as a pro-to-prep. When he was named the 2004 NBA Rookie Of The Year, he rapidly established himself as an elite player within the NBA receiving the NBA's MVP award both in 2009 and 2010 James signed for the Miami Heat in 2010 when James became a Free Agent after not achieving a Championship with Cleveland.
